Designed to be positioned either side of any Hornby
point, this surface mounted point motor allows for the
convenient electrical operation of points. Can be used
with the Hornby R8216 Digital Point / Accessory decoder
or for DC analogue operation, the R044 Lever Switch. May
not be suitable for use with points which are
incorporated into certain track configurations.
Production Details:

motor for new model Hornby points that have the sliding
bar mechanism. May be mounted above or below the
baseboard (requires Point Motor Housing R8015 for
mounting above). Comes supplied with metal extension arm
for mounting motor underneath the baseboard. Powered
from the accessory power output on your controller (or
other 16v AC supply). Requires 'passing contact' lever
switch R044 (not included).

The Hornby “Elite”
Digital Controller is more than capable of answering the
needs of most railway layouts – twin control with press
dial function, 17 button alpha numeric keyboard, wide
function LCD screen, four amp power, as well as having
the capabilities of registering 254 locomotive addresses
as well as 255 solenoid powered accessory addresses
(including point control), plus a USB portal for linking
to a Personal Computer.
The Hornby “Elite” unit
is an ideal way for the enthusiast to take their train
control to a new and advanced level.
Production Details:
The future of model
railway control is here with the latest and best Hornby
Digital Command Control System. The new Hornby system
differs from the conventional type of 12v controllers in
as much that it is the individual locomotives that are
controlled internally rather than the controlling a
locomotive's speed and direction by varying the current
to the track.
The Hornby Select Digital
Controller is the perfect way to enter the digital world
of model railways. The Select is capable of having
control of over 60 locomotives and, providing power is
available, run at any one time, 10 of them. The Select
can also operate 40 accessories including point motors.
Production Details:
Up to eight of these
units can be connected to a single Select or Elite
Digital controller allowing for independent management
of a further eight locomotives providing power is
available. Note:
It is not necessary to connect a power pack to the
Walkabout when used in this way and thus one is not
supplied. Instead an RJ12 connection cable is included
in this pack.
Production Details:

To be used
when track configurations such as a reverse loop or
triangle permanent way sections are used in a circuit.
The Hornby Reverse Loop module controls the polarity of
the track so that locomotives running around these
sections can do so uninterrupted without the use of
switches and complicated wiring. Can only be used with
the Hornby Digital units.
Production Details:
