Production Details:Designed to be
positioned either side of any Hornby point, this surface mounted point motor
allows for the convenient electrical operation of points. Can be used with
the Hornby R8216 Digital Point / Accessory decoder or for DC analogue
operation, the R044 Lever Switch. May not be suitable for use with points
which are incorporated into certain track configurations.
Production Details:
Powerful solenoid point motor for new model Hornby points that have the
sliding bar mechanism. May be mounted above or below the baseboard (requires
Point Motor Housing R8015 for mounting above). Comes supplied with metal
extension arm for mounting motor underneath the baseboard. Powered from the
accessory power output on your controller (or other 16v AC supply). Requires
'passing contact' lever switch R044 (not included).
Production Details:
Provides a base to mount Point Motor R8014 above the baseboard, with a model
trackside hut to conceal it. Comes with variable extension arm that allows
you to position the motor at different distances from the track, on either
side of the point. The base of the housing may also be used to mount the
motor under the baseboard.

The Hornby “Elite”
Digital Controller is more than capable of answering the needs of most
railway layouts – twin control with press dial function, 17 button alpha
numeric keyboard, wide function LCD screen, four amp power, as well as
having the capabilities of registering 254 locomotive addresses as well as
255 solenoid powered accessory addresses (including point control), plus a
USB portal for linking to a Personal Computer.
The Hornby “Elite” unit is an
ideal way for the enthusiast to take their train control to a
new and advanced level.
Production Details:
The future of
model railway control is here with the latest and best Hornby Digital
Command Control System. The new Hornby system differs from the conventional
type of 12v controllers in as much that it is the individual locomotives
that are controlled internally rather than the controlling a locomotive's
speed and direction by varying the current to the track.
The Hornby Select
Digital Controller is the perfect way to enter
the digital world of model railways. The Select
is capable of having control of over 60
locomotives and, providing power is available,
run at any one time, 10 of them. The Select can
also operate 40 accessories including point
motors.
Production Details:
Up to eight of these units can be connected to a
single Select or Elite Digital controller allowing for independent
management of a further eight locomotives providing power is available.
Note: It is not necessary to connect a power pack to the Walkabout when
used in this way and thus one is not supplied. Instead an RJ12 connection
cable is included in this pack.
Production Details:
This
locomotive decoder is suitable for any 'DCC Ready' locomotive, and can be
easily programmed for use with Hornby's Select or Elite DCC Units. This
Decoder has load compression where the motors rotational speed is controlled
and not simply the voltage, separate acceleration and deceleration, 14 28
or128 speed steps, Main track programming Four on-off function (two
functions are dedicated to head and tail lights), Able to operate on
standard DC systems, and motor overload protection
Production Details:
This
point decoder is suitable for fitting to any point, and can be easily
programmed for operation by Hornby's Select or Elite DCC Units. The Hornby
point motor decoder incorporates a capacitor discharge unit can accommodate
the connection of up to four point motors or other accessories that function
using a solenoid.
This pack includes a Point Decoder, decoder to
track link wire and a screw driver and screws.
Production Details:
4 amp transformer which is capable of
providing enough power to run approximately eight locomotives at any one
time. Can be used as a replacement for the 1 amp transformer supplied
with the select unit to allow the control of more locomotives
simultaneously.
Production Details:
DCC control works best when the whole layout is "live". Hornby points are
self isolating so therefore need 2 DCC point clips to be fitted to the point
to allow the power to flow down both routes. 20 clips per pack
Hornby RJ-12 Lead (To connect a select to an elite) 3 Metres
Product Code: R8236
Production Details:
RJ-12 cables
are used to connect DCC controllers together using the xpress net socket.
This cable will allow you to connect a Hornby select as an extra controller
to a Hornby elite.
Production Details:
Designed to divert power from one circuit to another -
eg. with R406 coloured light signals to switch from red to green and back
again. It may also be used to switch power from one section of track to
another and is the switch you use to operate turntable R070.
Production Details:Controls
the direction and speed of one locomotive. Input is 16v AC from the R964
mains transformer (not supplied, see above). Output is 0-12v DC to
the track, plus non-variable 16v AC output for power-switched points,
signals and other accessories. Supplied fitted with 760mm lead to Power
Connecting Clip.
Production Details: A complete transformer
and speed control unit with built-in control for two separate trains,
extendable to four trains by adding slave control units (HM2000+). Power
output is two Amps, with compensation to regularise speed under varying
conditions of load. 'Positive off' rotary speed control cuts all power when
the control knob is turned to Zero. Features include forward and reverse
switch, plus LED indicators for mains supply and output power. Outputs
include non-variable AC and DC power for point motors and other powered
accessories.
Production Details:
Switches from red to green and back again. Powered from the accessory power
output on your controller (or other 16v AC supply). Operated by 'on-on'
lever switch R046 (not included).
Production Details: This
junction home signal is for manual operation only. Height 172mm. This signal
represents the type of signal used on the approach to points. The taller
signal controls the main line.
Production Details: This
junction distant signal is for manual operation only. Height 172mm. This
signal represents the type of signal used on the approach to points. The
taller signals controls the main line. The yellow arms signify "distant" or
"caution", and are seen prior to signals with red arms.
Production Details:This signal
may be fitted for remote operation by adding point motor R664 and 'passing
contact' lever switch R044 (not included). They may also be operated by
hand. Height: 121mm
