Production Details:
The Network Rail Measurement Train is a specialised train
which operates on the UK network measuring the contact between
rails, wheels and the overhead electric cables. The train
is equipped with specialist equipment, cameras and lasers
so that it can check, measure and calculate any potential
faults or failings on the track or overhead wires at speed.
The Hornby Class 43 with its twin bogie drive bogies has
itself been modified to replicate where possible the appearance
