The two Gulf Aston Martin DBR9s performed superbly in the 2008 Le Mans race.
Car 009, driven by David Brabham, Antonio Garcia and Darren Turner, won the
GT1 class. The 007 car, with Heinz-Harald Frentzen, Andrea Piccini and Karl
Wendlinger behind the wheel, finished fourth in the class.
