The Spitfire gained imortality during the Battle of Britain
in the summer of 1940. the main role was to intercept and destroy the
Luftwaffe's fighters whilst the Hurricanes of the RAF attacked the incoming
bombers. This gift set includes glue (Humbrol poly cement), a paint brush and
the required paints (4 Humbrol Acrylic Colours) to complete the model. It also
includes the decals for; No 234 Sqn, RAF, Middle Wallop, August 1940, ( AZ-H ).
