These converters are designed to fit
Lima Hopper wagons such as Yeoman PGA/ARC and Horsebox.
The hole size required for these converters is
approximately 3mm, allowing them to replace the outdated
large D clip-in couplings. Please check the size of the
hole on the chassis. To remove the old coupling, simply
pull and release the clip. When fixing the new NEM
converter, first remove it from the sprue and ensure
that it fits correctly in the designated hole. Once you
are satisfied with the fit, apply a small drop of epoxy
glue to the large 3mm shaft and firmly push it into the
hole. For added assurance, we recommend using Blu Tack
to temporarily hold the pocket in place. This will allow
you to verify that the pocket heights are correct before
permanently fixing the converters. Ensuring accurate
pocket heights is crucial for seamless coupling and
operation of the model railways.
