The 1975 Lemans 24hr race saw a victory for a team that were
certainly not the prevent favourites. The Gulf oil liveried Mirage
GR8 of Ickx and Bell won by a lap from the Ligier behind them, the
third and final win for a Gulf liveried car overall at LeMans and
the first of an incredible five wins at Lemans for Derek Bell.
