Hornby's No. 08570’s main duties in service were shunting motorail vans and sleeper portions at Edinburgh Waverly. It was painted into an Intercity Swallow livery. 08570 was withdrawn from service on 18 January 1992 and then stored at Motherwell. Between 7 and 8 September 1993, the shunter was cut up by M.C. Metal Processing staff on site at Motherwell. Class 08 shunters are ubiquitous, but our model of No. 08570 is a one-of-a-kind model. The British Rail Class 86 is the standard electric locomotive built during the 1960s. One hundred of these locomotives were built from 1965 to 1966 by either English Electric at Vulcan Foundry, Newton-le-Willows, or British Rail (BR) at their Doncaster works. One of the hits of our first Class 37 production run was D6704 in BR green with full yellow ends, which quickly established itself among the fastest selling versions and suprised us by outstripping liveries that we expected to be more popular.

The victory at this battle ended Napoleons bid for mastery of the sea, but cost Admiral Nelson his life. She had previously taken part in many other major actions against the Spanish and French fleets, and is now the oldest serving Royal Naval ship stil in service, being the flagship of the Portsmouth Command. After being restored to the same condition and appearance as she was at Trafalgar, she can now be seen in all her glory at her home in Portsmouth by visitors from all over the world.
